obviously shampoo is just one point, and there are many others in line. But one has to start somewhere. The stuff that they take out of the water doesn’t just ‘disappear’. It either gets dumped somewhere or manufactured into something else where it inevitably ends up in the ocean.

No, shampoo plus other stuff is filtered out of water the same way salt is taken out of water.
If you want to live your life without washing (body washes have the same materials has shampoo) or cleaning your home (I heard bleach is more toxic then shampoo) then fine.

The statement is clear. If all shave their head – which is a simple act – the pollution will drastically lessen. That is common sense. Consider – to have an individual hairstyle will only serve yourself – to shave your head will serve all. The fact shaving your head seems extreme only reveals how much value you have placed within the picture you present to the world – really, your hair is irrelevant.
Shaving your hair is really not a drastic act. It will only be drastic if you make it so within yourself and when you fear having a shaved head.
Obviously hair in itself is not the cause of pollution. It’s humans and their inconsideration of Earth, Nature and the Animal Kingdom.
Within my video, the statement of shaving hair is specifically directed to point out that I no longer support that inconsideration. The more people do this = the more pressure it sets on the producers of such products, as their products won’t sell as much anymore and they’ll be forced to go into a point of consideration.
look at it from this perspective: you can poor shampoo into the drain and it will take you a few seconds. Yet – it takes much longer for nature or anything else to clean that water out. This has a compound effect that inevitably will cause problems.
I do use common sense. Useless your washing your hair in a lake or some other open water supply everything in the water supply is cleaned out before it reaches anything that can be damaged by it. I would recommend you do some research on how water is cleaned after it is used after people have used it. BTW I could talk about how damaging those clippers do but I won’t mainly because they do nothing just like shampoo
who are you? a group a political movement or what? What do you want? that everyone in the world, men and women, shave their head because the pollution producted by hair products? there are also biological products, its not necessary to shave hair, its a drastic and sad solution. This girl now looks like the female version of Mussolini; poor girl. if you like the shaved head we are in democracy, but don’t say to me that hair are responsable of pollution, it’s a quite stupid and a bit extremist.
