You know after listening to this and 2/3 other songs on youtube a bunch of times I needed some Pestilence to listen to in the shower. “Spheres” is a lot better to me now haha and Patrick’s vocals sound great on it! Martin rules =]
@corpsegrinder18
To tell you the truth, I would be scared to even hear it.
And besides, the singer from Consuming Impulse album is not in the band anymore.
His voice cannot be replaced by anybody!
Oh shit, I misread your previous comment. Thought you said that their new one is better than spheres haha. Yeah they reformed..in 2008? maybe 2007 and they released a new album. They’re playing Maryland Death Fest 2010
@corpsegrinder18
I am still stuck on my old school stuff.
I did not even know that they were even around anymore!
Lot of their fans that I know were pretty disappointed with the new one
Spheres was an experimental album from them.
Their highly acclaimed offering is their album that came after this one called Consuming Impulse.
@camipirata Lorca Rock Spain 2009 =D they started with devouring frenzy omggg *__*
de verdad en que festival.
vaya es pestilence, no sabia de esta rola que habla sobre terapia con chemo y trash , a bolsear se a dicho
I only own their “Spheres” album and couldn’t get into it =/ this sounds excellent though! will buy
Una buena banda
@camipirata y yo la he visto en directo xDD vaaale ya me cayo xD
keep supporting metal !!
UNA DE LAS MEJORES BANDAS DE METAL!
this was martins best days!!!!! and consuming impulse were by far their best
Wait wait what? I know you probably meant Patrick Uterwjick when you said “Peter Uterwjick has passed” but when the heck did he pass? I thought his name was even on the newest Pestilence album’s booklet (though apparently he didn’t play on it).
this is fucking kickass
and because they don’t have a quarter of the attitude that 80’s metal had
because the bands want “perfect production quality”… yuk!
Awesome. Why can’t modern metal be more like this?
no there is still death metal out there u just have to know where to find it u should check out mandatory there german death metal and play old school fuckin beastly ass death metal
Butthurt
go cry emo
sounds like Open Casket with the intro
Man, there’s a new wave of old school death emerging from sweden. Invidious, maim, lamentation, Morbus chron, bastard priest to name a few. The future is bright dude!
Well, Death Metal still exists, but..it’s turned into something else.
sad!!
bands these days wanna change metal by rapping …fuck that =/
old school death metal shouldn’t be called old school
it should be just death metal….thee original shit..period
